Job Role
The Sales Representative – Optical is responsible for promoting and selling optical products including frames, sunglasses, accessories, and related products to optical shops, clinics, hospitals, retailers, and other business clients. The role focuses on customer acquisition, relationship management, territory development, and achievement of sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.

3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Sales Development & Revenue Generation
- Promote and sell optical products to retailers, opticians, clinics, hospitals, and other business clients.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop prospective client relationships.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within approved company guidelines.
B. Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen engagement and identify sales opportunities.
- Provide excellent customer service and promptly address client concerns.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, quotations, and orders.
C. Territory Management
- Manage assigned sales territories effectively to maximize market coverage.
- Plan and execute customer visitation schedules.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the territory.
- Identify growth opportunities and recommend market expansion strategies.
D. Product Promotion & Market Development
- Introduce new products, offers, and promotional campaigns to customers.
- Educate clients on product features, benefits, and applications.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events where required.
- Support brand visibility and product awareness initiatives.
E. Sales Reporting & Administration
- Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates.
- Maintain up-to-date customer records and sales pipelines.
- Monitor customer orders, deliveries, and collections.
- Ensure proper documentation of sales activities and customer interactions.
F. Market Intelligence & Business Insights
- Gather and share customer feedback regarding products and services.
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, and market activities.
- Provide recommendations to improve sales performance and customer experience.
- Identify emerging market trends and opportunities.
