Job Role

Factory Operations / General Production Support Workers are responsible for assisting in day-to-day production activities across the manufacturing plant. They provide support in material handling, machine operation, cleaning, and general factory upkeep to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.

2. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

• Support continuous production activities across departments.
• Ensure safe handling of materials and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the factory.
• Assist skilled operators in achieving production targets.

3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Production Support

• Assist machine operators with setup and basic operations.
• Handle raw materials and semi-finished products.
• Support quality checks and reporting of defects.

B. Material Handling & Logistics

• Move materials between production areas.
• Assist in loading and offloading tasks.
• Maintain records of material movement.

C. Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Report hazards and unsafe practices.

D. Team Coordination

• Work closely with supervisors and skilled operators.
• Support cross-functional production activities.
• Assist in meeting daily production targets.

Qualification

4. QUALIFICATIONS

• Certificate in Production/Operations or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years’ experience in factory or industrial operations.
• Knowledge of safety and basic machine handling is an advantage.
