Job Role

Role Summary

The Car Wash Staff is responsible for delivering high-quality vehicle cleaning services while maintaining strict safety, environmental, and customer service standards. The role supports station revenue, customer satisfaction, and Company’s commitment to quality and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilites

1. Car Wash Operations

  • Perform vehicle exterior and interior cleaning services according to station procedures.
  • Handle washing equipment, detergents, and water responsibly.
  • Ensure vehicles are cleaned efficiently without damage to customer property.

2. HSSE & Environmental Compliance

  • Adhere to HSSEMS requirements, including PPE use and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
  • Prevent water, detergent, or oil runoff that could harm the environment.
  • Report spills, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately.

3. Customer Service & Quality Assurance

  • Interact courteously with customers and confirm service requirements.
  • Ensure consistent quality of cleaning services and customer satisfaction.
  • Address minor service concerns and escalate complaints to the Supervisor.

4. Equipment & Material Management

  • Properly use and store car wash equipment, hoses, pressure washers, and cleaning tools.
  • Monitor detergent and consumable usage to prevent wastage.
  • Report equipment faults or shortages promptly.

5. Housekeeping & Work Area Cleanliness

  • Maintain cleanliness and order within the car wash area.
  • Dispose of waste materials in accordance with environmental guidelines.

6. Revenue Integrity & Recording

  • Ensure all car wash services provided are properly recorded and charged.
  • Prevent unauthorized or free services.
Qualification

Qualifications

  • KCSE Certificate or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in car wash or vehicle cleaning services is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work outdoors and handle physical tasks.
