Job Description
Job Role

Job Purpose 

To ensure the effective maintenance, servicing, and repair of aviation fuel handling equipment and systems, maintaining operational efficiency, safety, and compliance in line with client's standards and aviation industry regulations. 

1. Equipment Maintenance & Technical Support 

  • Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of aviation fueling trucks, dispensers, pumps, and related mechanical systems. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic faults to maintain equipment reliability and reduce downtime. 
  • Carry out inspections to assess equipment wear, performance, and operational safety.

2. Preventive Maintenance & Compliance 

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules in line with manufacturer recommendations and internal HSSE protocols. 
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and equipment performance reports. 
  • Ensure full compliance with aviation fueling standards, safety codes, and operational procedures.

3. Workshop & Field Coordination 

  • Coordinate workshop-based maintenance with field service demands to ensure minimal disruption to fueling operations. 
  • Liaise with operations teams to prioritize equipment requiring urgent attention and mobilize resources accordingly. 
  • Monitor and manage usage of tools, spares, and technical materials.

4. Safety & Regulatory Adherence 

  • Comply with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards during all maintenance tasks. 
  • Support audit processes by availing documentation and conducting physical demonstrations when required. 
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety drills, and incident prevention programs.

5. Continuous Improvement & Team Collaboration 

  • Propose and implement technical improvements that enhance equipment reliability, safety, or efficiency. 
  • Support training and mentorship of junior technicians and interns. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and reporting. 
Qualification
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field. 
  • Certification or training in aviation fueling systems is an added advantage. 

Experience 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the aviation or petroleum sector. 
  • Hands-on experience with fuel truck systems, pumps, filters, and valves is highly desirable.
