Company Overview: We are an HR consulting firm hiring on behalf of a leading detergent manufacturer dedicated to serving the Industrial, Institutional, and Hospitality (I & I) markets. Our client’s product range includes high-quality detergents, cleaning accessories, and machinery designed to meet the rigorous demands of a diverse clientele. As part of their growth strategy, they are seeking dynamic and experienced Sales Executives with strong B2B experience to join their team and drive their business forward.

Job Location: Nairobi and Mombasa

Salary: 70,000.00 - 100,000.00 + Commission

Job Summary: The Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling our client's products to the I & I markets. This role requires a proactive and passionate individual with significant experience in B2B sales who can build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales, particularly within the I & I sectors, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive product penetration in the I & I markets.
    • Identify and target potential clients within the industrial, institutional, and hospitality sectors.
    • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
    • Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to clients.
    • Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  3. Sales Performance:
    • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the management.
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market feedback.
    • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer support.
  4. Product Knowledge:
    • Maintain an in-depth understanding of our client's product portfolio and how it meets the needs of different market segments.
    • Stay updated on industry developments, new products, and competitor activities.
Qualification

Educational Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing or a related field.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience in the Industrial, Institutional, and Hospitality markets.
  • Proven track record of successful B2B sales performance and client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
