Job Role

The Refueller is responsible for safe, efficient, and timely fueling of aircraft in compliance with aviation standards and safety regulations. The role requires operational discipline, strict adherence to safety protocols, and effective coordination with ground staff and airline representatives to ensure uninterrupted flight operations.

2. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

• Ensure safe and compliant fueling of aircraft.
• Support operational efficiency in ground services.
• Maintain accurate fuel records and reporting.
• Enhance coordination between airline staff and ground operations.
• Contribute to safety and environmental compliance.

3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Fueling Operations

• Conduct fueling activities according to aviation safety standards.
• Inspect fueling equipment and vehicles for readiness.
• Monitor fuel levels and consumption.

B. Operational Coordination

• Liaise with airline staff and ground operations for fueling schedules.
• Track fueling timelines and ensure timely delivery.

C. Safety & Compliance

• Report hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

D. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate fueling records.
• Prepare daily and weekly operational reports.

Qualification

Qualifications 

• Diploma/Certificate in Aviation Operations, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in aviation fueling or ground operations.
• Knowledge of aviation safety standards and fueling procedures.
• Added advantage: Certification in aviation safety, mechanical systems, or logistics.
