The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial operations, planning, reporting, compliance, and cash flow management. The role provides financial leadership, governance support, and operational control to ensure profitability, sustainability, and strong financial discipline. The ideal candidate combines technical accounting expertise with strategic business partnering skills.

3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, monthly reports, cash flow statements, and financial analysis.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and targets.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
- Support board and executive reporting requirements.
B. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis.
- Monitor budget utilization and variance analysis.
- Provide recommendations for efficiency and cost optimization.
C. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity position.
- Manage working capital, receivables, payables, and banking relationships.
- Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts.
- Support revenue collection and debtor management strategies.
D. Compliance & Statutory Management
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Oversee preparation and submission of statutory returns (PAYE, VAT, NSSF, etc.).
- Coordinate external audits and financial reviews.
- Maintain compliance with internal financial policies.
E. Internal Controls & Financial Governance
- Strengthen financial controls and accountability structures.
- Monitor financial risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Support implementation of financial policies and SOPs.
- Enhance transparency and reporting integrity.
F. Payroll Oversight & Financial Operations
- Oversee payroll accuracy and timely processing.
- Support reconciliation of payroll and statutory deductions.
- Supervise transaction processing and reconciliations.
G. Business Performance & Strategic Advisory
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
- Participate in strategic planning and performance discussions.
- Support pricing, profitability, and investment analysis.
- Advise management on financial implications of operational decisions.
H. Systems & Process Improvement
- Support implementation and optimization of accounting/ERP systems.
- Improve reporting workflows and operational efficiency.
- Support digitization and process standardization.
