To efficiently load, offload, and handle goods within the warehouse or distribution points while ensuring accuracy, safety, and proper handling of all items to support smooth logistics and delivery operations.

2. Key Responsibilities

A . Loading and Offloading

• Load and offload goods from trucks, containers, and storage areas.
• Ensure correct handling of items to prevent damage during movement.
• Verify quantities and types of goods during loading and unloading.

B . Material Handling

• Move goods to designated storage areas using appropriate equipment or manual handling.
• Stack and arrange items properly to maximize space and ensure safety.
• Follow proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.

C . Inventory Support

• Assist in checking incoming and outgoing goods against delivery notes.
• Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items.
• Support stock-taking and inventory control activities when required.

D . Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to workplace safety standards and procedures at all times.
• Use protective gear and equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free working environment.

E . Operational Support

• Assist drivers and warehouse staff in dispatch and receiving processes.
• Ensure timely loading to meet delivery schedules.
• Support general warehouse duties as assigned.

F . Teamwork and Collaboration

• Work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors.
• Communicate effectively regarding task progress and issues.
• Contribute to a productive and efficient work environment

Qualification

3. Qualifications

• KCSE Certificate or equivalent
• Previous experience in warehouse operations or loading is an added advantage
• Physically fit and able to handle manual labor
